PAF Commissioned Officer Courses – 2025

The Pakistan Air Force selects talented individuals from among the youth every year through Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC/SPSC). The branches opened this year are under DAFA Advertisement No. 02/2025.

Permanent Commission (PC) Branches:

Eligibility Criteria (Different for Each Branch):

GD Pilot (Permanent Commission):

• Education: F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical / Computer Science) with a minimum of 60% marks
  or A-Level with Physics and Math/Biology
  
• Age: 16 to 22 years
  
• Height: Minimum 5’4″ (163 cm)
  
• Marital Status: Single
  
• Vision: 6/6 without glasses
  

Aeronautical Engineering Course:

• Education: F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) with 65% marks or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  
• Age: 16–22 years
  

Logistics/Admin Branch:

• Education: F.Sc. (any stream with Physics) or equivalent A-Level
  
• Age: 16–22 years
  

GD Pilot (SSC):

• Education: BS in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, IT, AI, etc.
  
• Age: 18–22 years
  

Accounts Branch:

• Education: BBA, B.Com, MBA, ACCA, M.Com, etc. (at least 2nd Division)

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Process):

Online Registration:

1. Visit the official PAF website: www.joinpaf.gov.pk
   
2. Enter your CNIC / B-Form
   
3. Select the desired course (e.g., GD Pilot)
   
4. Fill in personal and educational details.
   
5. Upload documents (photo, CNIC, certificates)

Offline Registration:

You can apply for a PAF job even without internet access. Just visit your nearest PAF Information and Selection Center with your documents and complete the registration process. Selection Process—What Happens After Registration?

• Preliminary Test: Intelligence + Academic Test (Math, English, Physics)
